YEAR 11 TAUGHT CURRICULUM
In Year 11 the taught curriculum will focus on:
- Post 16 options: what the options are and how to apply,
- Employment: rights and responsibilities, leadership qualities
POST 16 ADVICE AND GUIDANCE
Over the course of the end of Year 10 and the first half term of Year 11 we welcome a number of external providers into school to talk to students.
As well as our popular and ever growing sixth form we also welcome in local colleges to speak to students. We advertise open events and communicate this to both students and parents.
APPRENTICESHIPS
We work with Aim Apprenticeships to offer a range of opportunities and workshops from what it means to study on an apprenticeship route through to applying online.

INDIVIDUAL GUIDANCE
All Year 11 students meet with Julie Kay our independent careers advisor-even if they have already had an appointment in Year 10. They will meet her to discuss their post 16 options, and she can advise them on how to apply or support them if they are not yet sure of their future path.
