Careers Education at HRS
Helena Romanes School is committed to providing all its students with a tailored career programme to suit their needs. We aim to motivate them through a clear understanding of the routes to jobs and careers that will be engaging and rewarding for them. We aim to widen their horizons, raise aspirations and challenge stereotypes.
Careers guidance and education is an important part of the overall education provided by HRS. Its importance for students was highlighted by the publication of new strategy and guidance information by the Department for Education.
Where can students find out more information?
All of our students have accounts with Unifrog, an online platform which helps students track their progress with careers as well as providing lots of career, post 16, university and apprenticeship education. Students log in with their school email address and can reset their passwords themselves if necessary.
Uttlesford Group
Helena Romanes is part of the Uttlesford 14-19 group and this gives us the opportunity to participate in the Uttlesford careers fair and the uttlesford Schools Apprenticeship Fair.
