SCHOOL LUNCHES
School Lunches
We are fortunate to have delicious and nutritious meals, freshly prepared onsite each day. Our catering team offer a variety of menu options for pupils including 'Healthy Heart' dishes, vegetarian and meat-free alternatives, all served alongside seasonal vegetables, fresh fruit and home-baked bread.
Ordering Lunches
Lunches options should be order online through our ParentPay system. For children in Key Stage 2 not eligible for Free School meals, school lunches cost £2.20 per day.
Free School Meals
Your child may be able to get free school meals if you get any of the following:

Income Support

Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
-
Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
-
Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999

The guaranteed element of Pension Credit

Child Tax Credit (provided you’re not also entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual gross income of no more than £16,190)

Working Tax Credit run-on - paid for 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit

Universal Credit - if you apply on or after 1 April 2018 your household income must be less than £7,400 a year (after tax and not including any benefits you get)
If you think your child is eligible for free school meals, even if they are in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2, please come and speak to the office.
Packed Lunches
Children are welcome to bring their own packed lunch if they do not wish to have a school lunch.
Healthy Snacks
Children in Reception and Key Stage 1 will be provided with a piece of fresh fruit each day as a snack. Children in Key Stage 2 are welcome to bring a fruit based snack each day.
Water
We recommend that your child brings their school water bottle in each day so that they can stay hydrated.
For the safety of all of our pupils, please ensure that packed lunches and snacks do not contain nuts or nut based products, including peanut butter or cereal bars.
Universal Free School Meals
All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to Universal Free School Meals. Parents and carers do not need to apply for this.
